Pray you do not get put into 1421 S Tonti Street Lived on a couch from when Ida hit to when I recently left due to the horrid repair and maintenance of this complex. If you're attracted by the low pricing please aware its for a reason! If you can afford it DO NOT SIGN A LEASE. Reason #1 If any storm damage happens rent WILL NOT be reduced if a room gets put out of order. Its officially your problem until they slowly and terribly fix your issue. Reason #2 They are terrible at maintenance anyone giving this place more than 1 star likely has some personal connection with an employee. For reference when I moved out we had been dealing with the following issues for 3+ months ( Broken A/C,Broken Dishwasher, Broken Dryer, Toilet clogged [by contractors using it], Water Leaking into the downstairs room inbetween the walls prior to Ida) Reason #3 While the front desk does it's "job" whoever is managing this place is a cheapskate. You refuse to lower rent on an apartment that has one usable room. Then when a tenant asks (repeatedly) for a rent decrease you simply say there's nothing you can do? This is not a place to stay for school, raise a family, or live peacefully at all. If you move in please realize you are on your own with all your issues. If you have been warned..... Don't reply this Marrero you've already told me there's nothing you can do right? Do yourselves a favor and not be tone deaf and two face and try making this better. Your complex is terrible and it'd be better if you advertised that way so people don't get screwed over :) Also I dare you guys todo some retaliatory. Ill update this review again so people can see your true colors.....

We have been without a dryer for almost 3 months now. I've called the office. I've submitted more than one maintenence request. I've also sent emails. Its really inconvenient to have to continually lug wet clothes down the stairs to take to the laundromat, while caring for my elderly mother. We chose Marrero Commons for the close proximity to work and also for the amenities offered!! A working washer and dryer were among those amenities.

Horrible I’ve been without a washer and microwave for a year toilet been clogged up for weeks oven door been broke over a year….Disgusting and very inconvenient especially because I have kids…..
