Such an amazing, Place and Linda was the best best best manager and tour guide anyone could ask for. She did a flawless job with sharing the history of the place, how everything operated and the tragedy that occured there. We learned so much in one day. We also shared the ghost stories of the miners. This was such an amazing experience. Thank you Linda for making us feel so welcomed and sharing your expert knowledge and history of the Kennedy Mine.

Oh, the sheer amount of artifacts, the incredibly deep (yes, pun intended!) history of this mine, and the area in general, is just mind blowing. I grew up here in Amador County, and never had a chance to visit Kennedy Mine, and I regret it!! Went for a quick walk around with my kids, only 30 minutes, and barely saw anything, lol. You could spend the entire day here and probably still not see everything! I HIGHLY recommend this historic site, and plan for a LONG day visit, or you can miss so much! Oh, don't forget to visit the other sites involved with this mine, especially the Kennedy Tailing wheels, just down the road a few minutes!
