apartment discriminates, poor office staff, no maintenance staff to fulfill work orders. sure you pay 200-500 monthly in rent, but is your health and wellbeing worth it?

For the past year, Marine Drive has become, to put it literally, a DUMP. To save money, these inept powers who be, have wired all garbage chutes closed so all garbage must be taken physically outdoors to be put in totes. So with seven buildings, about 88 apartments in each one and garbage picked up ONLY 3 days a week, we have garbage overflowing all the time. We need the chutes to be open, they need to hire enough maintenance staff to EMPTY the chutes EACH day. The building I live in has NOT had heat in 8 days nor do they plan to turn any on. By law in NYS, they are required to provide heat and have it available eff Oct. 1 thru May 31st. in multiple dwellings. Of course, they ignore that law altogether and shut the heat off when they damn well feel like it to SAVE money. The manager they have here at Marine is nasty, condescending, rude and impossible to deal with. Totally unfit and unqualified for managing people at all. They are seriously understaffed and to sum up the attitude here, they could care less and have no problem looking you in the face and LYING. These BMHA people in administration need to go. Nothing but lip service. I have lived in Marine Drive since 1995 and it has NEVER been like this. We are asking for the basic necessities to live. I love living in downtown Buffalo and I along with other caring tenants will fight to bring Marine Drive apartments back to the decent living standards it once was. Only gave them one star otherwise I wouldn't be able to post so that is why ONE star and that's a stretch
