Horrible service. I applied for a social security card 3 months ago that I never ever received. I had to ask for the manager 3 times to finally obtain my social security number that allows me to work legally. Now that I am going through the « lost card » process, even if I did not lose it, the office is closed for whatever reason even whether it says everywhere that it is open, and that a woman on the phone last week told me to come today. $25 in Uber thrown out the window. Thanks for nothing.

Horrible… I’ve been trying to speak with someone since October. You can’t get through on the phone, and if you’re lucky enough to do so you are disconnected immediately. I tried going into the office and they tell you that you need to call in and make an appointment.

I have no idea how they expect people to get anything accomplished with this office, I have been trying to call to get an appointment for weeks and will hold for sometimes hours until they hang up on me. No one answers the phone EVER! They want you to do everything online but you can only do that if you are a citizen (not permanent resident) and because I have not been able to get an appointment to update my ss card my DL has now expired and I cannot renew until I update my ss card, and I know they will give me a hard time about my DL being expired but I have been trying to resolve this issue for months. This is extremely frustrating.

Arrived a couple of minutes early for our appointment, made us stand outside without chairs. Not great service especially considering the fact a lot of older people use this service and they have nowhere to sit outside the office while waiting. The security officer was unfriendly and rude. Don't recommend this place, it's unfortunate that they treat people like this considering it's a government office. It's also unfortunate that this is the only place in the area to deal with social security issues, if you could go anywhere else I'd highly recommend it.

can I get a free copy of my social security card
In theory you can make an appointment over the phone, but the wait time is often over an hour and the line has a tendency to disconnect just for the fun of it. You probably wait about as long on the phone as you would taking a number and sitting it out.
I need a new social security card
Not any more only goes back a year
It varies due to how serious the condition of the one applying, mine took 18 months, seemed like a long time however it really isn't considering it goes by pretty fast and it's for pretty much for the rest of ur life
What is my ID according to my SSN?
Call the SSI office and listen to the automated voice and it will tell u what number to press for just that.
We've moved to a new residence and need to change our address. How do we do this??
a friend lost her social security card Friday 3 Dec & needs a new number & card. she doesn't what to be held accountable if a perpetrator is using her lost card
What do the codes mean i jad my book stolen so i still have no clue

She can call the toll free number and report it lost, then after a series of questions to confirm her identity they will issue her a replacement card and mail it out to her.
Yeah
Checks hit on the 1st and 3rd unless it's a Wk end then you'll get it on the Fri before that WK end
9am to 3pm
You should call them directly and or they have a customer service number to help you out with that, they aren't open at the moment, due to covid-19, they should be able to take care of your concern.
You can only drop it off
There is a 800 #
Probably not since they want the original documents sent to them to process your name change
Not listed on the info sheets outside their door, but I'd call them to make sure.
Just go to the website of the social security administration and you will find all the information you need
here is the link to the social security office concerning how to change your name on a social security card. https://faq.ssa.gov/en-US/Topic/article/KA-01981
Supplemental Security Income (SSI) is a needs based program and some insurance policies have value that needs to be documented.
I ordered a replacement card online. When can I expect to hear about it. Chad Nelson
No
Yes as long as you provide document that's needed
It can take anywhere from 60 days to 2 years get a lawyer
Your employer
What a social security card no but the paper you need is at the office to get a new one you will need your id and to wait there to hand in the paper
You would need to call the office directly and set up an appointment to discuss retirement benefits.
No, not unless you have a supplemental dental plan that you pay for out of pocket
Yes they do, just call them and tell them u want paper check and the address u want it sent to.
Not unless u want them to be
Yes I had got Burger & Green very professional, always keeping u informed, right to the point and precise, I trully recommend them.
You can pick up an application at their office.
Will you please call their 800 number for this.
You should call and ask them that question. No one knows that since each person is different.
It helps you get seen faster but no.
