Easy to access, the woman nurse there is very rude, talks negatively about patients to other doctors and does not provide accurate times. I do not recommend

Anywhere is better than here. They claim being short staffed is the reason when it's really incompetence. Waiting on the report still to get to the doctors almost 3 weeks after the catscan was done and they still haven't done it yet.
awesome bloxy
Okay place, but some of the nurses are rude and rushy and others uncaring. First, one nurse rushed me to get my height and weight, even though I was nervous (because I dislike doctor's offices) and didn't even ask if I was okay. Then, she rushed me into the room, took my blood pressure, gave me my gown and left. Also, let me add that I was here for a back x-ray. Then, another nurse came and by now I was crying because again I was uncomfortable and nervous after what just happened, but the nurse didn't say anything and brought me to the x-ray room. By now I was even more upset because I didn't even get asked if I was okay and if I needed to sit down for a few minutes and gather my feelings and thoughts. Instead, they just went straight into giving me my hand x-ray for my bone density, and then went straight to my back x-ray, even if I still was crying and nervous. They just looked at me and said nothing. Then, I went back to my room and that was it. But, Dr. Z. was good, and even better than the nurses. She was very caring and asked me right away if I was okay when she walked in. That made my experience better, but I still dislike this location due to what happened at the begnning of my appointment. Also I forgot to add that there was a bit of a long wait when I was there, but there were barely any people there. Probably even less than 10 people sitting there. That didn't bother me but partially made my visit less comfortable.

I called ahead of time to make my appointment and gave my insurance and everything. When go in on the day of my appointment they told me they do not take my insurance. It’s ridiculous that they couldn’t just tell me that when I gave my insurance info through the phone. Make sure you guys ask if they take your insurance because they don’t tell you until last min.

Hello, a calcium scoring scan is a screening exam used for people who may be at risk for heart disease. It is the only non-invasive test that can accurately detect the presence of heart disease in otherwise healthy individuals. If you'd like more details on how the exam is performed, you can visit this page: https://www.jeffersonradiology.com/services/calcium-scoring/ or call our patient care line at 860-289-3375.
