I went a week and a half ago around 830-9ish there was literally Noone for walk in tickets so it was good. But they recommend purchasing in advance. I'd say if your going to go early like before 930 it is probably okay. But you do risk being turned away, just keep that in mind.

The Trail of Terror is an outdoor event, unfavorable weather conditions such as rain, high winds or thunderstorms can cause unsafe conditions for both you our guests and the creatures of the Trail. In event of a weather closing an announcement will be posted on trailofterror.com, Facebook and Twitter by 5pm of that night. Timed Ticket holders will also receive an email of the cancelation along with an automatic refund unless a rain date is scheduled. (Refunds may take up to 7 business days from the cancel date). In the event of rain date being scheduled, all canceled night tickets will be honored on the rain date and a deadline for refund requests will be posted. Specific information will be posted on our website and emailed to all ticket buyers by 7PM of the canceled night. Refund requests made after the deadline will not be honored.

If tix are sold out there is no extra entries. They will turn you away at the gate. However if you order in advance or check back for openings you might luck up. Good luck.

"At the door" General Admission tickets are first come first serve and sell out very quickly. You need to be in line between 7:00 and 8:00 to get these tickets. Occasionally, some tickets free up during the night but that is the exception to the rule.

It is timed tickets, for example you can go between 7-8 or 8-9 etc. It does cost $20 to go threw and also $8 For parking.

About 45 minutes depending on the speed of your group and and group ahead of you.

It is all online. Parking when u get there is cash only also. The tickets sell out super fast so always try to snag them in advance

They have a limited number at the the door, so go earlier than later. But your best option would be to buy them online.

I've visited the trail many times and always show up about 15mins before the timed ticket. It gives you time to park... *which they charge for*... and walk to the entrance, which takes a little bit.

They have gotten a lot better about this over the past few years. They space well now and have a mid point so its spaced well throughout. So no worries, I drive 2 hours myself to go every year.

If there is a weather cancellation, a rain date will be set up since this would normally be the last weekend. Probably the first Saturday of November. Tickets should be honored on the rain date. If you have a conflict and can not attend the rain date, refunds will be made. The person who purchased the tickets should receive an message with details.

If the 27th is cancelled because of rain and/or high winds, a rain date will be added to the schedule. Probably the first Saturday of November.

Possibly. You would need to talk to the front line staff and may depend on how many people are in this group and if the queue is behind schedule. We are sold out. The ticket cap is to keep wait time in line to reasonable levels.

Alot of people try to pay when they get there and get turned away bc there are no open slots even at the end of the night. Esp toward the end of the month, closer to halloween. You are much better off buying ahead of time BUT be sure you do it NOW. They sell out EVERY NIGHT, EVERY YEAR. Ive been going a few years now and i see it each year and see SOOO MANY PPL turned away. Good luck and enjoy! I cant go this yr bc im having my first child this monday by c-section! So i dont want to get tickets to have them go to waste if im not recuperated enough. 😢 happy halloween!
