On our 4th pair of skates with Mark, this time went for Edea Piano with Jackson blade ... Mark as always guides us to the right boot & blade, appreciate the time he takes with my teens, no extra charge for mounting or baking skates!

Mark and Jeff are fantastic. After a nearly 20 year hiatus from figure skating, I made an appointment for a fitting and Mark not only was knowledgeable about figure skating but also very encouraging. I tried on multiple models until we found the one that fit my skill level and goals. They go above and beyond to make sure you are getting the boot and blade that would be best for your level. The attention to detail is unlike any place else and Mark’s depth of knowledge of figure skating and personal experience exceed expectations. I drove down from Hudson Valley (about an hour and fifteen minutes) and it was well worth it. They made sure I was suited up with everything I needed to get myself back out onto the ice with a newfound confidence. I can’t recommend them enough! They are great and only place I will go for my skating needs.

Went here to get my skates sharpened and punched out after a 15-year hiatus from figure skating. These gentlemen were friendly, welcoming and helpful to me and my family (my husband and 2-year old daughter tagged along). Mark is so knowledgeable!! It was the first time my husband got a glimpse of my previous life as a skater, and now he thinks the whole sport is as warm and friendly as the guys at Skaters Landing (ha ha ha)! I plan on returning here for the purchase of my next pair of skates. Support local!! Thanks, guys!!

Absolutely love Skater's Landing! I have had subpar experiences elsewhere and always try to direct everyone I know who asks to the shop. Its easy to get to from Manhattan, just a train ride from Grand Central and worth the trip!

Questions & Answers

It looks like they only sell goods for ice/figure skating.. Can I go there for other things, like skate/long board related things too?

We sharpen hockey skates but it is correct that we are centered on ice skates from beginner skaters through elite figure skaters

I bought skate from you many years ago...Maybe 10. I think I need to have them sized again. Do I need to make an appointment? And are you really closed all week???

They are usually busy. It's better to make an appointment to avoid waiting.
