Well most are living with relatives like my mother. They have a very harrowing experience to tell as she was the last bus to leave. They weren't able to pass roads so they were taken to the helicopter pad to sit and hopefully survive. In the middle of the fire storm, the first responders put on chairs and wrapped them in blankets to help them warm. They watch cottage after cottage burn. There was enough of a fire breaker around the helicopter pad that they remained safe. They fire receded enough, based on there location, after a few hours, they were able to reload the bus and go to a shelter in Oroville.
It's still gated off
Hi Judy! This is Nikki, the Activity Coordinator.... Our staff did a great job of evacuating our residents. Most of them are with family or in surrounding facilities. I am very sorry to hear about your home. I hope and pray that all the pieces will fall into place.
As far as I know they are going to be leveling it due to damage.
Most everyone Only one or two refused to leave
As far as I know seniors need to make arrangements to have family or friends help them . They can also call Kraig the manager with ant questios
Their meals aren’t family style. It’s made to order, so you’ll sit down at a table and order based what’s offered on the menu that day. You’re able to order things to go as well or to be delivered to your room if you live in the community.
