Should be zero stars. Worst management company ever. They will find ways to send you nonsense fines, charge late fees for HOA fees mailed out before the deadline, not do anything about complaints. In our 3 years there, nothing was done about our neighbors being inconsiderate and harrassing us, despite all of the complaint forms, photos, and recordings proving they were harassing us and violating rules, until I threatened to call the cops and get a lawyer with all of the evidence of what they've done and showing REI did nothing.

Terrible experience to the point I sold my condo and moved out. I would never own anywhere this company is. They are bias and take care of only the owners that are part of the association or board. Everyone else has to live by another set of rules. I was written up 10 + times in Stony Hill Village for having chairs and planters on my deck. WHAT IS THE DECK FOR THEN? And everyone else in the complex has the same stuff. The Wishing Well complex in new milford, same management but the place is a hazard and falling apart. Trash everywhere. So not only are they rude, unfair, but they're also inconsistent! Avoid these condo complexes at all costs!

Do you enjoy dealing with the most unpleasant humans in existence? Do you like being issued fines out of left field for rules that literally don’t exist just to collect money? Do you like being watched 24/7 by big brother with no privacy? Do you like getting zero help whatsoever when you need it? Do you like being woken up by snow plows scraping down the driveway literally all night long in the winter, or lawn mowers blaring before 7 am in the summer? If you like punishing yourself, then look no further than an REI-managed property. The company and its employees are incompetent at best, and usually dishonest and manipulative as well. I have dealt with other property management companies before – but in my experience as a renter and as a business professional, I’ve never had such unpleasant dealings, and I have been shocked at how awful this company is in every capacity. At least REI is consistent and deeply committed to retaining its well-deserved one-star rating. I’m sure they’re disappointed that zero stars isn’t an option. Please heed the warnings here and in other reviews and run as far as you can anywhere else.
