The food is not as good as it use to be. The last time I had a torta here the bread tasted old. They barely put the condiments on it. The salsa was very watery. The horchata tasted like yogurt. They need to change cooks and bring back the passion that made that restaurant one of the best in the area.

Their crunchy tacos de picadillo are good, their tacos de lengua are outstanding (when they're fresh). Their pozole is in the top 10 of all of Chicago -but get there early or you'll get a watered down version. I don't particularly like their rice or beans but thats just me. I mostly get delivery and they are usually pretty fast (less than 40 minutes). The one time they got my order wrong they immediately sent a replacement. They were very nice over the phone. I wouldn't say all their food is great but it's decent (for the east side) and reasonably priced.

The pork tacos were the bomb the meatball soup also, I will be back hammond doesn't have good tacos at all these were so authentic and worth the drive, Get use to seeing me cause I will be back. 20 minutes but soooooo worth it. Thank you

Food was wonderful and the price was great. Id recommend them 1000 times. Staff was also very polite and our food came out fast and delicious.
