Used this trail to access Desolation Wilderness to ultimately get to Lake Aloha. Beautiful trail and area in general. Parking is very limited so during weekends best to get to trail head by 7:30am to get parking.

Excellent trail, moderate difficulty. Great view. If you want a faster way to reach Tallac.

Very busy trail head, have to park far away. There are many options for trails length.

While I did not pay any attention to the signage at the trailhead, I can say that well over half of the people had their dogs along for their hike.
