I volunteered here. The mission of the organization is genuine. We moved furniture for a home that had no furniture, felt good to turn a house into a home. The large warehouse had some donations from furniture businesses, and had used furniture from donors. They also had 2 people working to build bunk beds from scratch. I was told if you had furniture to donate they would drive to pick up.

No there is a fee, but a very small one. That fee will give everyone in the house bed.
