In March 2022 these people responded quickly to my application. We set up a meet and greet quickly and I met my new puppy. The park where we met didn't allow for a lot of observation of him, but it wouldn't have mattered, he came home with me. He is a Chow mix and they were specifically looking for a person with Chow experience; me. My last dog was a Chow so I am very familiar with their temperament. I've sent them pictures periodically to update the foster family and when he was neutered there were no issues getting my refund. It was more pricey than the pound, but he was already pretty well potty trained and had some good socialization. I think these people really care about getting good homes for puppies.

We got a beautiful mixed boy puppy in the end. However, it was a rough start. Dasher whose name is now Milo, was a very sick lil boy when we adopted him. He was dated as 8 wks old. He was so small and scrawny and very under weight and ill. Very happy to have him but wish we had got a well healthy puppy as we believed he’d be small as he and siblings were all scrawny small. He’s 10 months old and still growing over 70lbs and still heading north. This okay in then, however as one of us is well over 60 was hoping smaller guy

We adopted our pup (Holly) from Puppy People Rescue and it was such a positive experience for us! They truly care about the pets in their care!
