I've discovered Pomodoro Rosso almost 25 years ago(!) when I visited my cousin who loved on Broadway at the time. We had a gret meal, and I enjoyed it very much. Since then, everytime I'm in Manhattan - this is the first restaurant I go to. Their tomato soup, served inside a freshly baked bread is simply marvellous. And then, every pasta dish I've tried was delicious. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Finally visited this neighborhood haunt after a year and a half on the UWS and sad we haven't made it sooner. The food was classic Italian American (I got the chicken parm and it was great) and the staff could NOT be nicer. It's one of those places where patrons definitely come back again and again and know everyone who works there. Peter was especially kind and personable, and we can't wait to return.
