We have family in Waupaca and love to visit the woods restaurant anytime we're there for a vacation. Great food and friendly service. Best pancakes I've ever had, and the fish fry is always fun. Never had food I didn't enjoy here. Worth a night out :)

First time ever going here. Went midweek, not a busy weekend. While we appreciate time to look over the menu, we really didn't need 20 minutes. I'm also not use to food taking so long to come out from the kitchen. Took about 40+ minutes. Not sure if that's normal? We were please that some of it was still hot. Kraut is plentiful on the menu items we ordered, and we did find a bit of meat too. Cheese was melted, so items were hot at some point. Our appetizer was a deep fried item and I am sure they were hot too at some point. Can't tell you what it was that was ordered as it was cool to the touch and completely deflated. But, the breading was good.

Great service and amazingly good food! It has been a really long time since I have been able to eat here. It used to be the best. And it still is the best! Amazingly good food and great sized portions sure to fill up everybody. The broiled shrimp and haddock is the best you can find!

I love the Waupaca Woods! We’ve visited many many times over the years and they have the best pancakes and just generally delicious breakfast (they have lunch and dinner too, but we love breakfast). I love the French toast and delicious hash browns. Very delightful, friendly service as well.
