Required a neg Covid test before doing a rapid strep. Strep is going around in my kids school. You think they would want to rule out strep especially since it is a bacterial infection and requires an antibiotic! After I was Informed she wouldn’t do the rapid strep I was Told that the Covid test is all booked up until Tuesday next week which is a week away & then handed a list of Covid testing centers I might get lucky and get my kid in. I thought that ethically they aren’t supposed to turn people away but I guess the fear of Covid has changed that requirement. She also stated that my kids symptoms could be anything....but refused to do a rapid strep or flu test....makes zero sense. If my kid ends up with strep and could have been on antibiotics to treat it but wasn’t given any because she refused to do a strep test before a Covid test I’m going to be extremely upset.

They are forcing you to take a covid test before they will see you or your children for anything respiratory, sore throat, sinuses, fever. Forcing you to have a negative test seems unethical if you ask me.
