What makes it the coin more expensive than others? Besides appearance the place where the coin was minted makes them worth more. Anyone with an s for San Francisco d for Denver the CC is a Carson City, etc. Coins that were minted in Philadelphia are the ones that are worth the least amount of money.
yes bring them there .they are fair and will tell you about each coin
Hi, Joseph! Thanks for your question. That would be a 1943 "steel penny". In 1943, it was WW2 and all of our copper was used for bullets so millions of pennies were made of steel. We buy these at 2 cents each. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!
Confederate war was 1961-1965. think u have a typo in your description?
Hi Brad! Yes, we do. Please bring them to our store on Stratford Road in Winston-Salem. Thanks!
Hi Crystal! Thanks for reaching out. That item would not be worth more than a quarter as it contains no silver. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks!
Hi! Thank you for your question. Currently, an 1897 dollar would be worth $20.00. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks!
I've not seen books there, but they might. Its worth giving them a call.
When purchasing Jewelry we take all aspects of the piece into consideration.
Take it to the store they will give you a fair price.
They might you can check them out
Hi David, Thanks for your question. In order to give a proper estimate, we would need to see the coin in person. Are you in the area where you would be able to bring the item to our store located at 662 South Stratford Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27012? Thanks
Yall said yall will sell it for 5 cents its worth more
i was just wondering because the exact coin was being sold for 2000+ and i didn’t know if it was a scam or legit. i am in the area but i don’t know when/if i would be able to get the chance. thanks for the help!
they are full of knowledge and will help you out.
1972 does nit have any silver i believe. The 1923 is 90% silver. Could be worth more than the silver content. I would just take it up there to see.
I don't work at CC&T but I shop there alot, you should take it in and let them take a look at it. They are very knowledgeable. Some of these are worth face value some with the "S" mint mark could be worth a couple hundred
Hi, Janis. Thanks for your question! There were no $2.00 silver certificates made in 1957 but there was a Legal Tender $2.00 note made in 1953 and 1963. In circulated condition, we buy them for $2.25 with folds and stains. 1976 $2.00 notes are still valued at $2.00. Please let me know if you have any more questions. Thanks
Yes, Canadian, probably pesos but not sure. Very good experience.
