Questions & Answers

do you have wheel chairs for temporary use? my sister in law is visiting for a week the end of june and sometimes needs a wheel chair. she is flying in , so it would allow her to have the wheel chair, without having to fly it out. Marj Orr.

They do have equipment that people can use temporarily until they don't need it anymore. It is donations so you can call and find out if they have it now and you can pick it up in return it when your sister-in-law's done with it. If they don't have it you can put your name on a waiting list. I would recommend calling them.

I need help paying our house phone bill. Is there an agency that can help me with this. My husband has pulmonary fibrosis and he needs to be able to call 911.

Hi Sandra, Give us a call...704-292-1797. We may be able to refer you to a few agencies that could potentially help pay utility bills. We also have a free medical alert button program where we could offer you a personal emergency response system (like a life alert button) where you husband could press the button to call 911.
