This is a pretty good library. I like the computer area as well as the large chessboard. I also appreciate that they have a lot of family night activities. I do wish there were more titles available in the African American fiction section.

No u do not need a license but you do need some sort of Identification, usually involving a picture. School ID counts. More 🎉Good News🎆 you DONT have to pay at all.🦄😳🍓🎈🎃💚💚💚😱😱😱 Nor do you pay to take out any books ,cd,magazines, DVD's. The library is an awesome resource!! 😻📚

Hello Kim. The county has not given us information on when we can reopen. Most of our locations are doing curbside pickup. Mt Holly, Dallas, and Stanley are undergoing renovations and cannot offer curbside. Ferguson is closed as it is located inside a city facility. The most current information can always be found on gastonlibrary.org.
