Parking is Hard To Find, And if you do it is pretty far away to get into the courthouse where the clerk of court is located. See pictures attached to this review. The best parking spot is behind the Truist Bank, They have an overflow parking that you can park there to go to the courthouse and not get a ticket or towed. You can go around the side of the courthouse by walking through that entryway where I have an arrow pointing, it is on the corner behind the bank.

The ADA was one of the most polite and helpful people that I came across. Every other encounter in the building was cold and unhelpful . The cashiers desk was a joke; 3 people just laughing amongst each other ; quick to tell you that there’s nothing else they can do when they haven’t done much of anything to begin with . No one will even look you in the eyes when you’re talking to them ; just reply and point . Also There will be people that are in the middle of helping you and then will stop helping you because someone they know talks to them or ask a question . The entire process is very demeaninging and just makes you feel very less than. All for a speeding ticket. The best deterrent from a speeding ticket is the experience you have in this building .

Criminal court begins at 9:30AM in courtroom 3. Civil courts begin at various times in the morning. If you have specific questions, you should call the Union Couty Clerk of Court.
