Our two dogs love coming here! Plenty of space for our energetic labradoodle to run, play ball, and socialize. I like that there's a dedicated section for small dogs only, but our shih tzu usually hangs out in the big dog (main) area anyways. The Splash Pawd is perfect for those sweltering summer days! There's also a self-service dog washing station ($). My only complaint is the amount of sand/silt in the dog park, as it requires a thorough cleanup before heading home (it gets particularly bad when it's recently rained or is a dewy morning). I wish it was all grass/mulch. Your $2 entry fee also gives you access to the entirety of the park with miles of walking trails, 2 playgrounds, a kids splash pad, and many other recreational activities--it's worth every penny. If you plan to come often, the yearly pass will be your best friend. Our whole family loves Wannamaker Park! ❤

My dog enjoys the big open space and the water pad there... All the trees provide alot of shade during the hot and humid months 😁
