The owner/ general manager makes himself somewhat available during your visit, yet I could not find him to actually share our experience. My wife and I ordered the beef shank and the lamb shank. Neither of which were worth the price or the hype that we were given. Both dishes were terribly unseasoned and fairly tough. The beans that accompanied the lamb shank seemed as though they were merely blanched and remained completely undone....food is not good at all..terrible and the atmosphere lacks it all. Were it not for the server,s professionalism this place would rate zero stars.

For the expense, the quality of the food was a bit meh.

Authentic Italian restaurant... reminding me of some of small restaurants we ate at in Italy. Ideal for a family meal and sharing courses. The portions are generous and well seasoned. Update 9 September 2022: we continue to eat here on a regular basis because the standards are high and the quality is excellent. Seafood is perfectly prepared and every entree feels cooked to order and is at the peak of its presentation. Try to get a table not in the main entrance because it is busy and a little noisy. Fritto Misto is a must-have. Fried lemons who would have thought that would be such a beautiful thing. The shrimp are cooked to perfection, and there's some veggies.

You can usually just walk in and be seated relatively quickly. Of course, the weekends tend to be busier, so you may have to wait for a table. But no, reservations are not obligatory.
