We came to launch our boat, and even though there was an attendant, he did not inform any vehicle that the parking lot was almost full and there was a fishing tournament that was causing an hour delay in launching. There should be a thru lane to bypass the launch line. This is also a hazard if there happened to be an emergency. This is a beautiful facility but a situation like this makes it very frustrating as a patron, and not a fisherman. Any sign would also help in the future.

No. You can fish from our 1,200’ of shoreline. Our docks are reserved for boats.
Not sure that it does completely close if you are already on the lake you can leave at anytime. Which we did several times last year when we didn't leave until 230am and we had no problem getting the boat out nor leaving the landing. Although the people fishing on the docks certainly did NOT like us leaving at that time since the boats scared the fishes away...
They are under construction... I work with the company building the restrooms and picnic area ... Plan to be completed within next month
Yep...FREE. But crowded on weekends. Fishing is also free. I even catch fish. Be sure to have your fishing license, tho.
