If you're looking for the best possible quality of care for your pet, you've come to the right place. We have been coming to CAH for over a decade - and have entrusted every single one of our pets in their care. We have never once been disappointed with just how compassionate, thorough, and caring the vets here are. I'd like to especially give a shout-out to Dr. Lorig. Dr. Lorig, is just incredible. She treats our pets just like they're hers. A couple of years ago, our 16-year-old Husky-German Shepherd mix got cancer. Dr. Lorig was realistic about treatment options, compassionate, and answered every single one of our questions. Sadly, we had to consider our dog's quality of life -- which went down quickly -- and Dr. Lorig followed up with us to express her deepest condolences. She goes above and beyond, answers every single one of our questions, and our pets absolutely love her. You can tell she loves what she does, and believes in what she does as well. The front-desk staff and the vet techs are some of the nicest people you could ever meet. There have been multiple situations where I had an issue with my pharmacy fulfilling a prescription (this is a problem with the pharmacy I use) and whenever I've called CAH, someone always goes the distance to make sure we get the issue resolved. They always do their best to fit us in as early as they can, follow up with us, and are absolutely always so friendly when we come into the office. Thank you to everybody - you guys make a scary experience for a pet a comforting one for both pet and owner. Sincerely, to all of the staff at CAH, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We love you guys and could never imagine entrusting our pets to the care of anybody else.

I have been taking my dog Cadie for many years to this facility. The vets are very knowledgeable and empathetic. The entire staff is extremely professional and nice. I have only the best compliments to them all. They respect and care for the pets and their owners. Thank you so much for this incredible group of people.

Great experience here! Our bunny came down with stasis and her usual vet was not working so we were referred here. We were able to be seen only a couple hours after we called. Dr. Lorig treated our bunny for stasis and explained everything to us clearly, answered all of our questions, and made sure we had a plan for when we got home. Our vet tech PJ was excellent as well. PJ helped me figure out the best way to syringe feed our bunny meds (which took a ton of patience as our bunny hates being handled), and even called the next morning to check in on our bunny. You can really tell all the folks working here care about the well being of your pet.

I'm pretty sure some of the vets at community animal hospital take care of exotics. I'm not sure if a rabbit is considered exotic but call the office and they will be able to tell you.

Is the price affordable?

just like any other vet, is pricey but I think if you budget it appropriately, it’s affordable, 75 to 90 dollars to check up without any bloodwork/ test or med

Does this animal hospital care for reptiles, specifically snakes?

The site says "We provide high-quality, comprehensive veterinary and surgical services for traditional domestic pets, as well as offering the most experienced exotic pet professionals in the region for the care of birds, amphibians, reptiles, and small animals." I suggest giving them a call.
