We like that it's a chain and if you travel you can go to other vets and they will have your records. Staff is great, prices are reasonable and transparent. They offer their own insurance plan.

Our cats needed a health certificate to fly abroad. This location was more than accommodating. They were full but understood our situation and restricted time frame and were able to accommodate us with a drop off. Dr. Adami saw our cats and she submitted all paperwork necessary to USDA-APHIS for endorsement. She did all the paperwork on the same day so the other office could receive our paperwork right away. Thank you Dr. Adami!

Devastated dog Mom. To pet owners: 1. Absolutely enroll in their wellness plan. It is worth it. 2. To the staff at the East Hanover, NJ location-you MUST do something about your phones ASAP. No one can reach you. EVER. 3. I highly recommend Dr. Falvey at East Hanover but if she is not available or you cannot get through on the phone, I 100% recommend Dr. Burke at the Rockaway, NJ location. She is a phenomenal vet. My dear friend recommended her and I thank God that she did. My 12 year old Coton de Tulear was in distress and I called Banfield in Rockaway late one afternoon and I thankfully was able to get medication for him within ONE HOUR and he was immediately much more confortable. Banfield provides very reasonably priced services and their staffs genuinely care about our pets. I wish everyone reading this many happy, healthy years with your pets. ❤️

Long wait to make appointment and also to check in pets with prior appointment. Services to paying members is not available when you really need in case of emergency. Cancellation requires full payment for the entire year even if you don’t use service!

How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?

Banfield Pet Hospital | Sep 29, 2020
Banfield Pet Hospital | Sep 29, 2020

You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?

Banfield Pet Hospital | Sep 29, 2020
Banfield Pet Hospital | Sep 29, 2020

Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
