It was nice, the beds were clean feeling and the lobby looked relatively modern. The issue I have is the smell outside of the rooms and how lackluster the bathrooms were. Outside of the rooms smelled like someone who owns a ferrets house, but the room itself did not smell that way.

It was handy when we decided we just couldn't drive any further. The price was quite high, but that was our fault for not booking ahead. Room was clean, and bed was soft. Breakfast was good with make your own waffles or pancakes. We struggled with the pancake maker and the attendant was super helpful to get it resolved, even making some and bringing them to us once he got it fixed.

Staff is great, but rooms are dingy and smell strongly of mold and mildew The smell hits you as soon as you walk through the main entrance. It is not the kind of smell you get used to either. When I woke up the next morning I could still smell it. For over $120 a night I expected a cleaner atmosphere. I also had to take benadryl to sleep due to allergies (I am allergic to dust and mold, not pets so it's not due to their pet policy)

The Inn appears to be undergoing a refurbishing. My room was very clean, the corners on the floor were spotless, there was no edge dirt by the bed and no dust buildup behind the headboard. (Gross out factors for me) The shower head was new and in perfect working condition. The furniture was older but in good shape. The large window in my rear facing room allowed for plenty of sunlight and fresh air. The only negative is that the entry door easily allows the hall noise in and the room noise out. All in all a good value.
