Bodine Field campground was the perfect camping stop before heading down to Cape May for vacation. Make sure you reserve a site on the park's website beforehand. This particular campground had a bit of a bumpy dirt road drive to get to it, so be conscious of your vehicles' abilities. The pit toilet was fairly clean and I liked the distance between campsites. There was a bit of trash in the firepit when I arrived and the fire pit looked like it was run over. But! I simply took the trash with me when I left and notified the park staff about the firepit and they informed maintenance would take care of it. Camp neighbors took a bit to quiet down, but I had some very restful sleep and enjoyed the NJ pine barrens. Would have loved to go for a swim in the river if I had the time. Check this place out!

Good solid camping place, quiet and peaceful. No picnic tables and some litter though. They need a team to come in and clean up a bit. Wading river rolls through it as well

Great place if you're looking for primitive. Just fire rings with grills and out houses. My wife and tented it and it was great.
