First : we stayed in the primitive camping in Hawkins Bridge . Primitive doesn't mean unhealthy ! Toilet pit is terrible , with fecal drops every where . Water at the fountain , even though they said potable water , to drink only IT 'S NOT TRUE. I went to the emergency yesterday bc of terrible pains due to stomach bugs . FYI , I drink only spring water since IDA flooding and boil water for cooking purposes from a built- in water filter. I did just one exception bc of the sign on the campsite , for just.1 cup of water !! Cannot believe such inaccuracies . Will send them the bill. Unbelievable ! I called them before coming to check if it was safe .

Tranquility, at Jersey's finest. Campsites are space and size appropriate, barried deep, mile and half at least back and close to body of water for canoeing / kayaking.

nice sites that are constantly subjected to the blaring noise from the privately owned campground that they claim is music. Would be a great place to camp if it didn’t feel like you were being subjected to a sleep deprivation test.
