It was a nice area to walk around with our dog, but we never found the dog park. The one sign we found listing the park was less than helpful with an arrow pointing into the river.

Maybe I just went on a bad day, but I was very disappointed with this park. The park itself was nice enough, but was also a placed congregated by the homeless. Tents lined the nature trail and the benches were used as places to sleep. I did not feel safe. The park did remind me of the problem Davidson County has with the homeless, and the fact there is no easy solution. I would not recommend this park as place to bring children.

You can fish there.. also lake tomalex... Not sure I spelled that right... But you can fish there as well
You can go anytime. They also have surveillance cameras if that makes you feel any better 😁
