Way overpriced. Course was wet and cart path only. Driving range was closed. They had just plugged the greens. They still wanted the full rate. Not a very memorable course. Many holes look the same.

Great course! Unfortunately, we arrived forty-five minutes early to find the range closed - it was too wet. However, we weren't provided prior notice and allowed time to make alternate accommodations to properly warm up. It seems to be a course best suited for bachelor and bachelorette parties who do not really golf, but are doing it as part of the Yankee experience of the southern culture and standards. However, we made the best of the situation, until we were placed behind the slowest party that has ever played golf. It was a bachelor party foursome who had no respect for the club or the course. On each hole, we encountered unrepaired divots on every tee box as a result of the bachelor party taking wild swings, a general disregard for the place of play, and decorum and respect for the golf course. For example, on the first par three, multiple players took at least eleven shots to reach the green. This is not expected of such a course with such a highly regarded reputation. Per the PGA regulation, during stroke play, the rules indicate that an amateur player would cap their score at a threshold of double par. This did not occur during the nearly six hours of play we sat behind. Additionally, this party played from the back tees despite not being able to reach the fairway on any hole. In short, it was not short, but actually, unbelievably, unbearably long. Add to the fact, that the ranger drove past this "bachelor party" at least five time without reprimanding their pace of play or enforcing the courses recommendation to play within a given skill level. Overall this completely disrupted my experience. Unless the golf course is willing to enforce a standard pace of play, it will remain a place for party goers, debauchery, and not a course for serious golfers, which given the cost, the golf club demands. We added an additional star because we were able to enjoy a hot meal while waiting for this bachelor party to tee off on tenth hole.
