Probably the most vintage, true Wisconsin feeling, ski area there is. Great place to get that old school vibe and a great place for families and kids too. And therein lies it's biggest issue... it's often way too crowded with kids who are …Hey Troy! Thanks for the glowing review! It does get a bit crazy on Fridays-Sundays. Our more relaxed days are M-W and most Thurs if you want a ski day thats a bit quieter :)

Our family had a fantastic experience at Trollhaugen. Our three oldest kids were learning to ski for the first time, and the volunteer ski instructors were so incredibly kind and patient, especially with our 6-year-old who got discouraged …Thanks for the review Thomas!
Adventure In Life
Go! It's fun! Especially Friday night late nights from 9 PM to 3 AM. It's the BEST $23 you'll spend. Buy your tickets online and in advanced if possible. Yes people still go when it's flipping cold out. It's OK to wear your Carhartt …Thanks so much for the spectacular review! Friday nights....always a party!

Came here for my first time snowboarding and fell in love with this place I’ve gone twice already and had an absolute blast each time. I’m planning another trip this weekend only thing I could hope and wish for is bigger rental gear I’m a 6’6 300lbs guy and I’ve have trouble getting a board from the rental shop that fits me right including bindings. But that’s a small draw back for everything else they offer

Outside food and beverage is usually allowed in the lower part of the chalet, but not in the restaurant upstairs. There are outlets in the lower area, but not a lot.
Spot on Mr. Stai!
Hey there Bryn, currently Trollhaugen does not have a mogul run.

Indeed we are - just as my good buddies Barry and Brian attest to! Skol! Sat and Sun from 10am-5pm
Sunday at noon
I believe so
There is a adventure Park right next store that probably would. It has tall towers for the zip line.
For sure! Til at least 10pm. Tons of snow!
Appreciate your interest! The human Dan Wille is correct. Group discounts start at 20 humans. Deets @ https://trollhaugen.com/ski-and-board-groups - Skol!
We keep regular hours NYE unless it's a Friday night. We've found, over the years, a majority of humans take their revelry indoors - so 9:30a-9pm on Monday. Skol!
We occasionally offer early morning XC on the runs - check out Facebook.com for updates. After decades of operation our XC zone was closed a couple of years back. We found that, after snowing and grooming it all season, humans typically came out just until the first natural snowfall, and then invested their time at their local parks - making it cost prohibitive to keep the trails alive. Keep making those skinny tracks! Skol!
We make snow as soon as the temps allow. We're typically able to make snow within a week of the first part of November. This year, it looks like temps may drop starting Nov 6. Stay tuned!
Yes. Both skiing and snowboarding lessons for adults and youth https://trollhaugen.com/lessons
Yes
Prices vary depending on day of week, holidays and weekends. Check their website or call them. ( Really you needed to ask somebody and couldn't figure that out yourself.?...
Yes, your season rental does cover both skiing and snowboarding as 1 price. You can choose day to day, or even switch midday if you like, for no extra cost.
Not sure, just give them a call. They are awesome.
