I opted for the email notification and I swear they wait every 2 months to let me know a bill is due.. by time now I have to pay 2 bills. I can't keep doing this merry go round.

I'm not thrilled with Union Power. Over the past couple months our power has gone out several times, often for no apparent reason at all (i.e. no storms, etc.). I'm the last person on my street with Union Power; my next door neighbor has Duke Energy and her power is NEVER out. I also discovered that our rates are higher than Duke Energy. This does not make me very happy.

Their service crew are usually very fast, today the truck was in our neighborhood within 30 min of the outage and power was back on after 10 min of them being out. That's pretty standard for them too. It's such a privilege to have electricity and I really appreciate that we hardly ever have to think about it.

How much does it cost to have a pole light put in? We’re having trouble with coyotes & tonight my brother saw a gray wolf come walking up out of the woods while he was outside vaping. He so made a lot of noises at it & it ran up the driveway.

Someone please tell me if you think union power has raised rates.I use exactly the same things daily. I'm disabled, fixed income. It's been a dollar more per day lately. I just can't afford it. I have no one to help.
