I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the pralines. I have shipped them to loved ones previously, this is the first time I sent some to myself. They are not the same quality that I am am used to when I've bought in your stores. My first reaction, when I opened the gift box, was that the pralines looked commercialized in identical packages, as opposed to the individually shaped pralines I have bought at your shops for decades. I felt like I should be restocking a shelf somewhere. For the first time, I sent some to my daughter at the CDC in Atlanta, and she was the first to express her disappointment and tactfully told me save my money. As a native Charleston-ian, she felt ripped off. She then went to Savannah over Memorial Day weekend, and said she walked by your store a few times and refused to stop by out of retaliation in response to the poor quality product she received. I agree with her analysis. "They are all the same size, in cellophane bags b/c they were made by a machine and they are dry and you have to "snap" a piece off b/c they've they are not soft and fresh b/c they've been stored in a warehouse." My shipment that was going out on the 30th., are going to a special person, and THESE pralines are not the quality of gift I typical bestow upon Dr. A______. Actually, I am very embarrassed. She is two-years new to Charleston, and these will be her first pralines. I was hoping to impress her!!! I now realize that I could have gone to Walgreens and bought a Three Musketeer that would have been fresher and less expensive. But equal quality. I really am heartbroken to give gifts, that I thought were special, but are less than ordinary. Curt Norman Charleston, SC

I was unable to enjoy any of the sweets here due to lack of attentive staff. Four people behind the counter arguing about who was going to run the register, meanwhile multiple customers standing around just wanting some service from anyone. Zero stars would be more appropriate but I guess you get one.

Watch them make it, sample, buy a piece or two or you may just want a whole hand picked bag/box. Large variety! Grab some ice cream, whatever your sweet tooth, I'm shore you can find something!
