On August 13th I placed an order for both bee pollen and honey. As I live in Athens, I chose the delivery option. Today is August 28th I still haven’t received my order. I have also sent two emails asking for help which haven’t been answered. I do not know how they are on mail delivery but I’m left to assume that a $60 home delivery option is their lowest priority. As I put in my third email to them, I could have walked to their office myself to pick it up. Be very careful when ordering from CCB.

Deeeelicious! We have enjoyed eating their honey and giving it as gifts. They have lots of fun flavors and are the nicest people.

I must admit, we are not familiar with white pollen. I know that tulip-poplar can produce a very light pollen as well as jewelweed but I wouldn't expect them to be in bloom this time of year. Other plants can produce different-colored pollen based on the time of year so I'm not quite sure. Sorry, I wish I could be more help!
We don't have a mentoring program although we love helping people out who want to get into beekeeping when we can. Our best advice however is to join a local beekeeping club. The nearest one to our area is the Eastern Piedmont Beekeeper's Association.
I'm sorry you lost your hive. We do not sell colonies however I recommend contacting Dixie Bee Supply out of Gillsville. They are our favorite colony and queen supplier in the area. Best of luck!
