I worked with Home Instead in late feb of this year. I had been looking for reliable, vetted caregivers who were also vaccinated for Covid19 and willing to take the appropriate precautions with my elderly father. Camille met with me and within a week she identified the perfect caregiver for my Dad. She noted all of our needs and communicated with the caregiver directly. Camille then came back to our house with Maime to introduce her to my Dad and we did a walk through of the things we needed help with. We needed help at night as Dad had several falls in the months prior. Maime, was prompt, so kind and compassionate. Helped my Dad with getting dressed for bed, with light housework, and helped him turn in bed once that got harder and harder, get to the bathroom, fixed him breakfast and made sure his morning routine was safe. She left me notes for any concerning symptoms she may have seen. My Dad unfortunately passed away in April. I’m so thankful to Home Instead for helping me keep my dad fulfill his wish of staying in his own home for as long as possible. I wish we could contact the caregivers directly but the policy is to go through the office and that worked out just fine whenever it was necessary. Mark Barlow, the owner of the company, Camille, and Maime and the whole team, were all a pleasure to work with. If you’re looking for trusted caregivers from a good company, this is the best company in town to work with in this area!!!

I worked there for almost 3 years and there not truthful. They took patients out from under me. The also denied my unemployment after I hadn't worked for 5 months. The owner also be littles people all the time. Several of my clients were unhappy with him. He treats them like children and not like the elderly. Sorry for those elderly people that are still with him and the ladies in the office. To much responsibility and not enough pay. Sorry but not sorry. This is not 16 months later I update my post to let the public know. All the people mostly on your reviews Mark are your employees after u tell them , there gone to win prizes at y'all's meetings. Talk to people that have had y'all and see there reviews. Sherry and Danny who are the owners of the Athens Ga franchise they will tell you how Mark the owner did there mom and dad. When caregivers were stealing and lying. Mark also tells you in your first interview " I will not put my caregivers where I don't feel safe". Well he wanted to put me off of Medowbrooke Dr. one of the highest neighborhoods for crime. When I wouldn't take that patient. I went 2 more months and still didn't get a patient. When I called there excuse was "alot of clients have covid or scared of covid. The pay is ridiculous. There charging clients this outrageous amount and pay us way to low. The ladies in the office do all the work, meanwhile the owner flys to California all the time. The owner also sent a letter to my landlord of the last day I worked. I filed unemployment 4 days after the letter Mark sent. I've got proof by signature that I NO longer was employed. Your company told the GDOL I was still working. I have no other choice but to get a legal representative for this matter. I am entitled to unemployment. The owner be littles people, when you would bring stuff to there attention, they did nothing. NOT a good person to work for. For care for clients for what y'all and they pay, hire someone else besides homeinstead. I've been a caregiver for 12 years love this field, but not with Homeinstead!!!

I've worked for Home Instead since February 2021 I love it! The office staff and owner are some of the most open caring people you will find. It's been amazing!
