Been going here for 10 years since relocating here from Maryland and always had a positive experience. Today, 9/28/22 that changed. We were seated at 11:26AM. We got our water, our usual drink, and biscuits. When we got our water we asked for straws. Our server said the straws were only for children. The server went on to explain that nobody wants to work so the straw company wasn't making straws. Most everyone else sitting outside got a straw. She did bring one back for my wife. A considerable amount of time passed and we didn't get our food. My wife asked the server about this and she said they only had 3 people working in the kitchen because, you guessed it, nobody wanted to work and that was causing the delay. At that time I pointed out that most people had a straw and none of them were children. She then offered a straw and I refused it. We're up to 12:15PM at this point and no food. Every other person outside came after we were seated, with the exception of the couple that was seated at 12:20, all of them had their food. At 12:23 we decided to leave. On the way out I talked to another server, Bruce I think his name was, he was very apologetic. Needless to say, we didn't eat here today. I'm not sure what the problem was, but one thing is for sure, this will never happen again. We supported this place during the pandemic because the employees treated us like we were family. I used to take my out of town guest here, that won't happen anymore. For whatever reason this happened it's inexcusable. Oh well, the damage is done. I'm giving this 2 stars because of previous experience.
