If I could give 0 stars I would. This company was highly unprofessional and uncoordinated to work for. They were more concerned with the payment they would receive instead of the type of care we should have been providing.

Dropped taking Council of Aging and patients left without care givers. We had to tell the worker they did not even tell their own employee😠 when asked no one would take responsibility until I got angry then it was the old well we just bought the company and it was all their fault. You did not even let Council on Aging know you were not renewing with them. Bad business and shows you are in it for a profit not to care for the ones that need the care

Not a good company to work for.... They lie in there ad.. They keep you in the road and do not give any help with gas.. Your under paid and over worked.. And they keep your last check..and they give you a phone to use so they have you on call but charge you for it when you already have your on phone.. If they call you for a job.. Run like hell..

“I am real pleased with the services of Assisting Angels Home Care in Laurens. My daughters both live away and can’t always come home very much. Assisting Angels’ staff has been helpful by calling to check on me often and finding staff that are real nice. They help me with cleaning my house, taking me grocery shopping, to doctor visits, and cooking meals.”

If you value safety, security, and reliability, yes. A quality home care agency is insured and also manages the performance and scheduling of its caregivers, handles billing and payrol, and has back-up caregivers to fill in when needed. With a private hire caregiver, you’re responsible for setting up payroll and withholding taxes, caregiver vetting and background checks, and purchasing sufficient liability insurance to cover any accidents or injuries in the home.
We follow infection mitigation best practices and safety protocols, informed by the CDC and local authorities, and provide appropriate PPE to our caregivers. The majority of our caregivers and Care Team members are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Home care is typically billed by the hour, so the cost depends on the number of care hours per week and can vary slightly by region. Most families pay out-of-pocket for their care or use long-term care insurance.
The best caregiver is an experienced professional who has the training and skills to support your loved one’s care needs. It’s also imporatnt to find a caregiver who’s extremely reliable, has back-up if necessary, and is a good fit in terms of personality and shared interests.
Home care is a supportive service provided by a professional caregiver in the home or community where a resident lives (in addition to facility supports) for peace of mind, companionship, and personal care. Caregivers can perform tasks such as running errands, preparing meals, assisting in the shower, fall prevention, and initiating brain stimulation activities to stimulate cognitive function.
