Was told by Dr to go to the er because of pancreas infection, arrived at 2:00 pm sat in the waiting room till 3:45am, with only blood test. Was told I was on priority list for room to see Dr. All the timevivwas in pain all the time seems staff had no care for the people inn waiting room
Carolyn Bailey
Went in for kidney stones, waited 5 1/2 hours to be seen. I was in pretty bad pain the whole time, pain that was alleviated 10 minutes after I was given a room. Almost 6 hours of crying in pain that they were able to mitigate very quickly once I was in a room. I’m not sure this hospital has the staffing to run patients through in a timely manner, I would only go back if i had absolutely no other choice, like I was going to die or lose a major limb, or my eye sight. Don’t go there if you can help it. I plan on using an Augusta er from now on.
Andy Strain
Excellent service from the front desk to the checkout. The Dr’s and staff were very attentive and answered all my questions.

Our hospital follows all protocols and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regulations related to administering the new COVID-19 vaccine to those outlined in the current phase, as directed by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC). Vaccine distribution is following a phased approach to ensure those who are healthcare workers and at highest risk receive the vaccine first. In order to receive access to CDC’s VAMS website, you will need to visit aikenregional.com to complete the Vaccine Request Form: www.aikenregional.com/patients-visitors/covid-19/vaccine.

No, they are doing some repairs.
Yes they can. A ER doctor refured me to a specialist. That was the best move I got. When they refur you. It doesn't take that long for an appointment.
By now it's too late.
You should go to your primary physician. If it's not a medical emergency that requires a pulmonologist, the ER isn't going to refer you.
Yes
You have to contact the Department of Vital Statistics of your home state.
Yes, and if need be a priest can be called in too.
