Met my son for lunch here today. He used to go here all the time when he lived in the area. When I told him I was hungry for pizza he said we have to go to Sgambati's then. It was the best pizza I have ever had. And the garlic knots were delicious. I was reading previous reviews and was disappointed in comments regarding staffing. We had a great waitress and we got our food very quickly. The majority of the restaurant business is short staff please cut these people some slack. Truly believe they are all doing the best they can

Had the 20 inch stuffed meat lovers. Essentially big enough to feed your family and the in laws. Only pizza I've ever eaten with a fork and knife. Very good.

I’ll start by saying the food was very good. My husband and I ordered the chicken bacon ranch pizza and the garlic knots. Would highly recommend. (Will say, we order some other appetizers but they didn’t have them available. Seems like other reviews suggested they don’t have certain things in stock consistently, so maybe update your menu to reflect rotational options). Despite the good food, there were some things that gave us mixed emotions about the restaurant. First, we went at 2:00 on a Sunday. The place was completely empty and yet our waitress was not attentive at all. She sat at the bar while we ate, and she didn’t bother refilling my husband’s drink when she watched him finish it. For us being the only customer, she wasn’t friendly or seemed to even care about us. Second, they charged a 3% fee for using our debit card. It’s really a minor price but seriously, the business should be covering that. You’re an established restaurant, not a little farmer’s market stand. Most places that charge a fee only do it when purchases are below $5.. I’m spending $50 at your restaurant. Just a little irksome. Third, we ordered a $7 tiramisu to go and it was honestly the smallest piece of cake you could probably get. Definitely not worth $7, but we haven’t tried it yet, so maybe it’s the best tiramisu we’ll ever eat. All in all, I would only order to go from this restaurant, I wouldn’t dine in again.

Where to start... we tried to order drinks off the drink menu. Each one we wanted was no longer available. We were told by our waiter that the dessert drinks were not available. So, my question is then why were they on the menu?When we tried to order appetizers, both were unavailable!! Drink prices were a bit high... $4.50 per beer and $7 for a Malibu and sprite! To top it off I'm unsure what was actually used in the mixed drink but it definitely was not sprite.
