Called the numbers listed on the website and on the slip that came with the pink bag. No one answers. I followed the instruction on the slip and pack the donation and placed in my front porch. No one came to pick it up on the designated time they said they would. Not sure if it a legitamate organization.

My wife scheduled a pickup of baby and child accessories (strollers, car seats, bouncers, etc.) for this past Saturday, 9/24. We bagged everything and sat it at the curb as we've told them that's where it would be. They called her 3 times prior to the 24th to confirm the pickup but they never showed up. You can never get these people on the phone when you try to get in touch with someone. Needless to say, we will not be donating anything else to this place. If Hope for Domestic Violence reads this, do not put any pink bags on my property because they will not be used. I will simply take our donated items to the Goodwill or Salvation Army. Zero stars if I could.

Horrible no communication never come when they are scheduled. I won't ever use them again clothes got very wet had to throw in trash

So these people came to my house and took items out of my car port without permission I never initiated a pick up nor did any of my items have hope or inspire on them the driver actually went thru my items in the car port and took what he wanted and on top of it all the items were not mine that they did take I have called them spoke to someone once not to hear anything again I’m going to have to get my lawyer involved because it’s no way they can get away with this I have proof they did it and so does my neighbors do not donate to this place When I have had donations for them they never came so I stopped donating so that gives them the right to come onto my personal property and take things

Google them. Police in at least 4 states plus the Better Business Bureau warn that they are a scam, as is their parent company, Inspire, which claims to help inmates and the homeless, In fact, they help no one. They collect your things and sell tp places like Park Avenue Thrift. Their drivers may be court ordered, working off fines for criminal activity. Those are the only "volunteers" I've ever known to do their job (or not) with resentment.
Either I think. I out mine in black trash bags. You have to label one bag and write Hope on it. I just taped a piece of paper with that written on one bag and sat them all together near the garage
I HAD A PICKUP SCHEDULED FOR 7/22AND NO ONE SHOWED UP I HAVE SINCE DONATED THAT LOAD OF STUFF TO THE VIET VETS ASSOCIATION
I would recommend you look into the reviews and news articles related to this “charity”, and donate elsewhere. I had donated a bunch of stuff prior to looking into H4DV. I did not get a reciept, and they are not an IRS approved charity.
