I can't say anything bad about this organization. Every time I've needed help, they have been there. Everyone is super friendly & helpful. If they can't help you, they'll refer you to a place that can. I especially like the lady that's there from Atlanta food Bank who does caps, & snap applications. She's always super helpful. Can't forget about the lady who does the clothes pantry, she's awesome. Also the people at the food bank are awesome as well. Everyone is great. I love coming here

Yes. Volunteer sign-ups are done through our website. ourncm.org Thanks for your interest.
Yes it does!!!!
I don't know. I volunteered when i lived in Georgia, but no longer live there
They are a great agency if you're willing to do your part as far as gathering all documents they require for assistance. Many ppl feel that it is too difficult or that the co-op asks too much, but all agencies that help out financially are like that. They have to submit that paperwork as proof that they're handling all the donations they use for aide responsibly. That's not an answer to your question, I know, but my point is- be prepared to put forth a little effort. They asked me for about 10-15 documents, which took me a whole week to gather, but it was worth every hour of effort and frustration bc they paid for a total of 5wks at an extended stay! If you're humble and truly in need, you will receive help.
Far as ik they enter everything into the computer and build a file in you and everything about and concerning you and your household into their database so if you did a resume with them they probably most likely have it on file or in your file if not they will help you create another
I doubt it, but you can always call. They make an exception with your condition. Also try calling Gwinnett County transit, they have mobility transit for the elderly. They may be able to get you there & back
Yes its a drive up now
So we can answer your specific questions, please call the office during business hours. M,W,F from 10am to 2pm
The co-op
I'm not sure. You'll have to contact them for that answer.
Normally 1000am
Yes, you can do community service here , but because there are ALOT of bothers wanting to do community service, you would have to reach out to the coordinator. To be placed on the schedule.
Yes
Lease, identification for all on the lease and money order of the difference of 400 dollars that means they will only help with 400 so if your rent is 900 you have to bring a $500 money order. Make sure you go at opening its a long waiting as there are others that will be in line
Yes
It is always best to call and ask your questions to the staff or volunteers.
If you have been in a hotel for days they will provide a voucher for you.
If norcross coop cant help thay wil tell you ho can stuff the bus may be able to help with school supplys
Financial assistance requires you live within the co-op's service area, so if you live in the Norcross area bring your hotel receipts as proof of address.
They may not take the medicine but if it's prepackaged they may. Call them about the chocolate
Yes, you do. But they will help you with food, clothing, and other resources as well. Be prepared to wait, but know it will be worth it. It is acceptable to bring spouse and children if you have them, and perhaps one of them could use ID if you do not have one yourself. Best of luck to you.
Also look up partnership for community action
Unsure.
