This motel is very clean, reasonably priced, very pet friendly, and within walking distance to the very quaint downtown area. There are definitely some permanent residents here, but they all seem pretty polite; lots of grilling going on in front of various rooms, but I personally found that charming. The staff are so welcoming, that it almost reminds me of staying in a pricey bed and breakfast. I’m pretty sure my boyfriend’s new best friend is the house keeper. I am very grateful to the attendant who was working the night shift. She made us life saving ham sandwiches and told us all about the town of Buckhannon and Wesleyan College. If you’re looking for some place that goes beyond the typical hotel/motel experience, and won’t break the bank, you’ve found it.

Staff was nice. Rooms were okay. Breakfast was simple. 2 complaints.. the floors were very dirty. So dirty my 9 month old had black hands knees and toes from crawling around. And the water smells terrible when taking a shower or bath.

Nice Motel! I have stayed here a few times and each time has been great. Rooms are upgraded from what you usually see around. Staying here again tonight. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and it is located close enough to walk to anything in the main area of town. Definitely recommend this place.
