I have to wear an orthosis “boot” when my “tendonitis” flares up. I can not find my old “boot”. I sent my husband to get a “boot” at Carolina Prosthetic & Orthotics. They said, I would have to come to be fitted. I went, and they asked for my “prescription”, which I don’t have a current prescription. They said they needed it to file for my insurance. I said, I was willing to pay without filing. They said, they couldn’t sell me a “boot”. They didn’t offer to call the orthopedic group where I am a patient to get the “prescription”. So, I ordered online. I hope I NEVER have to get anything from Carolina Prosthetic & Orthotics. Rude receptionist!

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! Too lazy to do the paperwork and precerts when needed! Still without my knee brace I was SUPPOSED to have on Wed. SUPPOSED to call this a.m. to pick it up..of course they didn't and office closed at 12. I called twice to ask to speak to whoever runs the place to be told "oh she drops in on occasion". Well if I were HER..I'd drop in a lot more! Thanks for absolutely NOTHING!

Thank you for your question. We have ordered automatic doors and scheduled a contractor to install them in the very near future. If you need assistance before the doors are installed, please call the office and ask the staff to come out and assist. This has been done on numerous occasions and we are happy to do it. We are truly sorry for the inconvenience.
