It was decent. Pretty small place, and pretty slow when we were there. The lady that owned the place was super nice. Her husband was not as nice. Nice bathrooms, no showers unless you asked the owners to use it. Not a bad visit. The weather wasn’t great either, which didn’t help.

Went to this place to buy propane and the guy didn't tell me the price until he was filling the tank. 18 DOLLARS FOR A 20 POUND TANK.....at the fast stop gas station they are only 10.59 we would have gotten it there but no one was there so decided to go here big mistake. Should have waited for the guy to show up at the gas station.

This is a full hookup, no frills park, with pull thru sites right off of US 2. Pet friendly and absolutely perfect for what we needed. The owners, Penny and Mike, are wonderful people with a great sense of humor. You have to call to make a reservation, but I liked the personal connection. For us, this campground was perfect - really friendly fellow campers, whether seasonal or overnighters, beautiful area to explore...we went hiking on the Days River trail and canoeing in Lake Michigan. We are definitely going back when we can stay longer, and we are definitely staying at Whispering Valley again!
