This place takes u back in time. The history and building hold so many stories. I feel so at home here. The staff is exceptional! I can't wait till I can come back.

A classic, vintage hotel retaining all of the charm from when it was built. The staff were friendly and parking can be found around the hotel or across the street in the hotel garage. Rooms were clean and comfortable and each room is dedicated to a celebrity who visited or stayed there.

For visiting trail riders: As far as security for your machines, there’s well lit parking across the street at the courthouse where the Sheriff Deputies were in and out all night providing ideal security. Easy access to trails. Lodging: We found the rooms to be clean, organized, and well stocked. Other comments: Staff was helpful, lobby was beautiful, great coffee shop off of the lobby, and awesome sports bar down the street called Starters. Overall, this historic hotel will surprise you in quality for the price point. We will be back.

The place is beautiful, clean, has nice beds, and cool history but that’s where the positives end. Rarely was any staff member available, either at the front desk or via calling. Stayed Thursday through Sunday with a large group (around 20-25 rooms) and two out of three nights there was no hot water to shower for the majority of the evening. The last night I was unable to reach any staff by dialing 0 from the room or by calling from my cell. This was at 7:30 pm, not some ridiculous hour like midnight. Conveniently the same time the night prior I had called to alert of no hot water and did get an answer and was told many people had been calling for hours. The only way anyone actually knew that the hot water wasn’t working again was that someone walked out of a room literally 5 feet from the front desk phone where I had called 3 times within 15 minutes and had just been yelling hello, anyone here not 5 minutes prior, and gave up and was sitting complaining to another guest in my party about cold showers again and figuring out where we could eat dinner. We were pitched that there was ample parking via a garage and several lots that could accommodate vehicles with trailers, but then when we arrived we were informed that the lots weren’t available except on Saturday and Sunday, and the 14 trailer garage fit 4 unless trailers were all unhooked and hand moved into corners in the garage. The elevator has been broken for months, but can’t really fault them for not being able to get parts, but a heads up before we arrived would have been nice considering we had to lug gear and coolers up flights of emergency exit narrow steps. We were offered use of the service elevator when we arrived, but then there was no one around to open it for our departure. Literally no one at the front desk or anywhere to be found again between 7 and 8 am. And we didn’t miss them, as we made 4 trips up and down the steps right beside reception to get everything loaded. The area was beautiful, but when I visit there in the future I will definitely find alternative accommodations.
