Great tech who comes onsite to Tobaccoville for repairing my computer.

I dropped off my son's laptop that needed to have the screen repaired and was so pleased not only with the detailed explanation I was given on what needed to be done but also several options depending on my budget. The computer was repaired within a few days which blew me away after previously being told by Best Buy that that same repair would be at least 4-6 weeks if they did it. I was so pleased with my experience with Bringing Your Tech to Life that I've already used them again to make some upgrades on a computer and my second experience was fantastic as well. Absolutely will use Bringing Your Tech to Life for all of our family's future computer needs!

Bringing Your Tech to Life replaced my MacBook Retina top case after a few keys on the keyboard stopped working or fell off. Repair was done quickly.

I scheduled to have my Dell computer serviced by Bringing Your Tech to Life after a good friend spoke so highly of this business. I drove up from Winston Salem, NC to drop my computer off. I was having issues with apps in Windows 10 disappearing from my computer or opening and then immediately closing or crashing. I was convinced I had a virus! I spoke with the technician who was very knowledgeable and explained the process of their diagnostic. He didn't rule out an infection or virus as being a possibility but did a quick scan while I waited which didn't reveal anything. The ability to replicate my issues with the tech during the intake process was nice. I was impressed with how thorough the diagnostic was which was completed in a couple days. My specific issue was corruption in the Windows Operating System that was repaired without having to format my drive or loss of files. Not only did they find the issue and repair it but they also provided some helpful information to keep my online accounts more secure. The cost of the repair was very reasonable and I will be coming back in the future if other repairs are needed.

Yes we work on all major brand computers including All in One PCs and iMac. Regarding Walnut Cove, NC we can come to you for an on-site appointment or you can come to our shop in King, NC. Depending on where you are Walnut Cove it could be 25 to 30 minutes away.
Absolutely Natalie. We service all kinds of computers including brands like Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo, MSI and more. Regarding Dell branded computers we work on Inspiron Laptops, Latitude Laptops, XPS Laptops, Studio Laptops, Inspiron One All in One PCs, Inspiron Desktops and OptiPlex Desktops. The most helpful information for us to have to provide estimates is the Dell Service Tag number which can be found in on the back or underside of the machine. It is typically a 7 digit alphanumeric code. The Service Tag is equivalent to other manufacturers use of a Serial Number. Hope this helps.
It depends on the age of the device, the hardware specs and what is wrong with it. Typically we would want to review the device in person to see what it would cost to refurbish it for resell. If it is a profitable for us to fix and sell to another customer we would certainly entertain a cash offer for the device. Providing the devices make, model, serial number and hardware specs would give us any idea of the value and we could offer an estimate of what it would be worth sight unseen, however to get a concrete offer we would need to see the device at our shop.
Absolutely. There are specific hardware requirements for Windows 11, specifically the generation of CPU and the presence of TPM 2.0 for security. The best thing to do would be to bring the device to the shop or let us do a remote session to review over your hardware and see if it will handle the upgrade. Windows 10 currently has an end of life date from Microsoft of October 2025. So you still have several more years of service out of older hardware that may not support Windows 11. If your device meets the previous mention requirements but needs a storage drive upgrade or more RAM or memory we can perform this service at our shop. Thank you for reaching out.
Absolutely! We use an industry standard tool called PC Doctor Service Center to determine hardware and software issues. Performing a thorough Diagnostic on Hardware and Software will uncover any problems with your device to make sure we repair it done right the first time. We also perform a visual check of components to check for thermal issues and use a multimeters to check shorts to ground if you have a power issue. Once the Diagnostic is complete someone will follow up with you on the findings and if the repair is performed the Diagnostic Fee is applied toward additional labor. Hope this answers your question. The best thing to do is submit a ticket on our website www.bringingyourtechtolife.com/ticket. Knowing the device make and model will provide some insight on part costs if you're looking for a free estimate.
