At check-in I noticed the lobby had a strong musky smell like mold. Got to room and same smell. Found candy in the sleeper sofa. No outside lighting after dark unless they came on after 9pm. Cob webs in ceiling corner. I was tired and didn't wanna mess with changing rooms. If it didn't smell moldy would be decent for the price.

Rooms are a little beat up, smell faintly mildewy. Classier entrance than some other hotels. Side door swipe doesn't work. Fitness center has dumbbells up to 50lbs + adjustable bench along with cardio equip. Business center printer had no paper in it. WiFi is fast! DirecTV is not HD tho. Breakfast was meh, icky wet eggs with poor flavor plus sausage that looked barely cooked and tasted poor. Had bottled water and Activia yogurt to go for breakfast too. Clean room and hot shower.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times in the last few years. It is located in a small town adjacent to Huntington, WV. The other nearby hotels in Ohio are disappointing. This is by far the best hotel on the Ohio side of the river. It is a calm well run place with polite and friendly staff, clean rooms, great internet and good location.

I have waited to write my review for Comfort Suites after I had stayed there on several occasions, I believe that 3 different occasions for a total of 8 nights is a good. All three times were completely different, the longer the stay the worse the service had become. The last duration was 4 nights and this was business travel. Room was not ready by 4pm. We booked two rooms they were supposed to be a joined rooms. Did not happen. They had us change rooms four times because the rooms were still dirty and they could not find two that had been cleaned.Once we finally were assigned two rooms they were still dirty. Only positive was the location and the breakfast was pretty good. Everytime we stayed we had different staff check us in, perhaps it's lack staff education or just not having enough staff. Hope they get it together. Disappointed traveler. PS. Pool is not heated. Cold very cold.
