Leslie T with member services was very unpleasant to work with. As my first time shopping at this location and with Bjs as a whole, Leslie did not make me feel welcomed or want to come back and continue shopping here. I spoke to a kind lady on the phone regarding memberships and the one time day pass and she was very pleasant and let me know I could come into the store and shop for one day but that I would have to pay a 20% additional fee for not being a member and informed me that i could sign up for a membership during my visit or at another time. I told Leslie that i signed up for the one day pass online and she told me that was ONLY for online shopping, but the lady on the phone did not say anything relating to it solely being online when i informed her that was how I signed up. The kind lady on the phone did make me feel welcome and want to become a member, however Leslie was not at all personable or pleasing and therefore I will not be returning to this location due to her attitude and unwelcoming personality. Do better and treat your customers with courtesy and kindness, regardless of them being a member or not. No need to be aggressive or rude before explaining the policy, which I was already aware of without her input.
