We worked with Anthony Rhodes to purchase two new John Deere mowers in May, 2022. Originally, we planned to purchase an X763 but there was not one available until June. Anthony very kindly loaned us, at no charge, a zero turn mower to use until our new mower arrived. And then, we fell in love with the loaner, so we changed our minds and purchased a Z930M zero turn mower (60" cut) and an X380 lawn tractor (54" cut). We wanted the X380 so we can pull the other implements we purchased; a trailer, an aerator, and a leaf collection system. We are beyond delighted with both machines. We have owned John Deere products in the past and we really didn't look at other brands because we have always been so pleased with John Deere products in the past. These new machines are increible. They are clearly well made and they suit our needs perfectly. The Z930M is a beast and makes easy work of our lawn cutting needs. We really could not be happier. We even named them: Jack and Jill. :) As for our experience with Anthony, we were so impressed. He knows the John Deere product line very well and really guided us in the right direction. He picked up the phone immediately each time I called him, including once when he was coaching his son's baseball game, which I think is above and beyond the call of duty. We look forward to working with him for our regular servicing needs. I cannot say enough good things about working with Anthony, and our overall experience with James River Equipment.
