The bus ride to the boat took about 30 minutes from Battery Park since it is in the New Jersey side (but they never tell you that). Boat departed 30 min later than expected. After we got back from the boat ride we had to wait 1 hour for the bus to take us back to Battery Park. Very disappointing! Do not waste your money. Uber to Manhattan will be about $40.

So convenient to go all over New York City during the day to catch some major sights off the waterways here between the city and Jersey. To be able to see the Statue of Liberty from the waterway is just absolutely breath taking. Architecture in New York doesn't get the credit it should. Taking this tour will give you this wonderful perspective. The $2.75 fare on most ferry's is the best kept secret in NYC Tourism. Thank you for keeping it down and competitive with subway fares. The Subway can be a daunting task but the waterway taxi's are straight forward. See you soon NYC #GoBears
